Maria Klimi comes from the Dodecanese islands. She worked as a teacher but her love for cooking made her leave everything behind. After studying cooking, she worked in hotels and restaurants.

The last 16 years she lives in Ioannina where she made her dream come true! A small boutique restaurant “To magazaki pou legame“ . In it’s open kitchen she creates dishes based on the Greek tradition with her own touch.
Ambassador chef of “Small Greek producers “ for 2022, she carefully picks ingredients from all over Greece to be fully certain that her “guests” “travel” while eating there.
